Heterozygous nude rats injected with AAV9-αsyn slowly developed a paw bias with more right paw touches that became significant at 2 months post-surgery when compared to GFP-injected controls (Two-way ANOVA, mixed-effects analysis p < 0.0001; F (1.96, 79.15) = 13.31 post hoc analysis: Tukey’s multiple comparison test, p = 0.0003), whereas T cell deficient nude rats injected with AAV9-αsyn did not develop a significant paw bias at any time point tested.
