Gene expression analysis of inflammatory cytokines and glial activation markers in the brain. Relative expression of a Tnf, b Il1b, c Il6, d Tgfb, e Il10, and f Il4 was studied in the brain of hHSPB1-overexpressing and wild-type mice 24 h after ethanol treatment using RT-PCR. Relative expression was correlated with the wild-type control group (100%). Values are presented as mean ± SEM; n = 8 mice per group.
