CDC1551 i.c.vent.-infected Nos2−/− mice demonstrated increased concentration of Th1-associated cytokines and chemokines, and neutrophil chemoattractants compared to C3HeB/FeJ infected mice at 8 week p.i. Concentrations of chemokines and cytokines in brain homogenates were normalised against total protein concentration.
