Tissue digestion enzymes show off-target effect on the detection of specific markers by flow cytometry on T-cells recovered from human peripheral blood and human brain tissue. Mononuclear cells were isolated from healthy blood donors (a; n = 5) and normal appearing white matter of deceased brain donors (b; n = 3). Frequencies of CD4⁺, CD8⁺, CD45RA⁺, CD27⁺, CD69⁺, CD103⁺, CXCR6⁺ and CXCR3⁺ T-cells (CD3⁺ cells) were quantified by flow cytometry. Bars show mean value.
