A–D After BV2 cells were treated with SiHCA2 (25 nM, small interfering RNA of HCA2) for 24 h, the effects of nicotinic acid (NA) on AKT, PPARγ, and NF-κB pathways were examined by western blotting. E–H After cells were treated with MK2206 (10 μM, AKT inhibitor) for 4 h, the effect of NA on AKT, PPARγ and NF-κB pathways was examined using western blotting. I–K After cells were treated with SiPPARγ (25 nM, small interfering RNA of PPARγ) for 24 h, the effect of NA on PPARγ and NF-κB pathways was examined using western blot.
