AnxA1 expression correlates with the severity of EAE. C57BL/6 mice were immunized with MOG35-55 and CFA and spinal cords removed at day 12 (score 0), day 18 (score 2) and (C) day 20 (score 4). The sections were stained with hematoxylin and eosin (A) or anti-AnxA1 (B) as described in Materials and Methods. For each staining, the right panels (20×) show a higher magnification of an area of the left panels (4×). Results representative of 3 experiments.
