Subchronic stress increases EAE-induced MMP-9 expression. A Again EAE and stress induced an increase in plasma corticosterone but expression of GR in spinal cord measured by western blot revealed that the EAE+S group showed lower levels, indicating a failure in HPA regulation (B).
