Angiotensin receptor blocker losartan suppresses ROS production. Co-treatment of N27 cultures for 18 hours with 300 μM MPP+ and with increasing concentrations of losartan results in dose-dependent reduction in MPP+ induced H2O2 production. Data are from 3 independent experiments with n = 6 wells per experiment and * represents p < 0.05 compared to culture receiving no losartan.
