Expression levels of ICAM-1, VCAM-1, P-selectin and E-selectin in the brain of uninfected and PbA-infected saline-treated and DPTA-NO-treated mice (day 6 of infection). Expression levels were normalized in relation to GAPDH expression. Saline-treated mice showed increased expression of ICAM-1, VCAM-1 and P-selectin, but not E-selectin.
