Sac-1004 inhibits glial activation after I/R. Immunofluorescence staining (a, b) of CD11b and GFAP in the ischemic cortex of the sham, vehicle-ischemia, and Sac-1004-ischemia groups 3 h after I/R. Profound expression of CD11b and GFAP was observed in the vehicle-ischemia group compared with that in the sham group, whereas the Sac-1004-ischemia group showed reduced expression of CD11b and GFAP.
