Absence of motor deficits in DJ-1−/− mice exposed to prolonged, serial low-dose systemic lipopolysaccharide. No significant differences were detected between genotypes or treatment groups in (A) the time to walk across a narrow beam or (B) the time before falling off an accelerating rotarod, suggesting no general malaise or overt motor deficits compared to wild-type saline-treated mice. Bars represent mean ± SEM; n = 8 per group. Analysis by three-way analysis of variance followed by a Tukey’s HSD post hoc test at P < 0.05 for significance.
