(A-C) As expected, no MAC deposition was seen in D2 optic nerve axons at 10.5 months of age. (D-F) However, MAC deposition (as judged by the presence of anti-C5b-9) was found in the optic nerve head from D2.C5 B6 mice with no or early (NOE) glaucoma.
