Basilar artery segments were incubated for 0, 3, 6, or 24 hours. Phosphorylated and total level of CaMKII (A) were measured by western blot and detected by immunofluorescence. (B) ERK1/2 was measured by western blot. Phosphorylated CaMKII and ERK1/2 were compared to the total levels of the kinases. Significant differences were obtained between fresh (0 hours) and incubated arteries for western blot. Data are shown as mean ± SEM, n = 5. *P <0.05.
