Effect of IR injury and DEDA on Ca2+ dependent PLA2 activity, mRNA and protein expression of sPLA2 in brain tissue at 24 hours of reperfusion after 60 min MCAO. IR induced activity of calcium-dependent PLA2 was measured in both ipsilateral as well as contralateral hemispheres. Treatment with DEDA reduced the PLA2 activity (A).
