Effects of rapamycin on NO production in activated C6 glioma cells. (A) C6 glioma cells were activated with TII for 24 h. The mTOR inhibitor, rapamycin was added to the cells in nM concentrations at the beginning of the experiments. (B) Cells were treated with TII in presence or not of 10 nM rapamycin for different times. NO production was assessed indirectly by measurement of nitrite accumulation in the incubation medium (Griess method). Data are expressed as means ± SEM (n = 6). Data are representative of 3 different experiments.
