  1. MIA was performed on selected chemokines, cytokines, growth factors and adhesion molecules. HC and CX protein levels were determined in controls and 2 mTLE patient groups (− and + HS).Inflammatory proteins are listed in order of overall significance (ANOVA/Kruskal-Wallis). Proteins in bold show significant changes between groups (ANOVA/Kruskal-Wallis, p < 0.0015). Levels are presented as medians and range (between brackets).
