Chemokine receptor expression in the CNS of hyperacute EAE control and COAM-treated mice. SJL/J mice were immunized with SCH in CFA and were administered i.p. injections of COAM on days 0 and 7. Brain and spinal cord tissue were isolated on day 11 or 12 post immunization. mRNA expression of chemokine receptors (A) CXCR1, (B) CXCR2, (C) CCR4 and (D) CX3CR1 were analyzed by qPCR. Histograms and dots indicate, respectively, group medians and range of individual data points (for each cohort 13≤n≤18). * P <0.05; *** P <0.001 compared to naive mice as determined by the Mann Whitney test.
