Figure 5From: Inducible nitric oxide synthase is involved in the modulation of depressive behaviors induced by unpredictable chronic mild stress The specific inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) inhibitor N -(3-(aminomethyl)benzyl)acetamidine (1400 W) abrogated the increase of immobility time induced by unpredictable chronic mild stress (UCMS). Mice were subjected to various stressors in the presence or absence of the iNOS inhibitor 1400 W for 4 weeks. Immobility time was recorded in the forced swim test.
