Induction of C/EBPβ and C3 gene expression in mouse astrocytes and microglial cells treated with lipopolysaccharide (LPS). Astrocytes and microglial cells were cultured and treated with vehicle or LPS (10 μg/ml) and the content of C/EBPβ and C3 proteins determined 24 h later using specific antibodies, as indicated in Methods.
