BDNF induced NR1 phosphorylation in the spinal cord which was reduced by K252a. Western blot (a) showed that incubation of the acutely cultured spinal cord slices with BDNF (50 ng/mL) elicited an increase in the phosphorylation level of NR1 at Ser896 (b).
