Prevalence of CRPS type I-like signs in the rat fracture model. At 4 weeks post fracture, (n = 37), 5, 43, and 51 % of fracture rats developed 2, 3, and 4 of the 4 signs, respectively, including allodynia, unweighting, warmth, and edema. At 16 weeks (n = 38), only 18 % of the fracture rats completely recovered, and 60 % of fracture rats still exerted at least 1 of the 4 CRPS type I-like signs
