Correlation analyses for CSF white cell counts, QAlb and CSF total protein, respectively, and days since attack onset in patients with acute disease. Although the correlations were not statistically significant, a clear trend towards normal values over time is discernible. Given that clear trend and the significant correlations seen in adults, it is likely that the lack of statistical significance is an effect of the lower number of samples in the pediatric cohort.
